March, 2009: New Launches In Bahrain, UAE, Sudan, Yemen And Jordan
As part of our efforts towards increasing our share of the growing anti-infective market in the Middle East and GCC, Tabuk has successfully launched Factive® tablets 320 mg in Bahrain and UAE. Factive® is an advanced Quinolone, with a unique patented molecule belonging to LG Pharma, it is the first FDA approved drug for multi drugs-resistant Streptococus pneumoniae (M.D.R.S.P). Also Tabuk has successfully launched Meiact® Tabs in Sudan and Yemen to enrich our Anti-biotic portfolio. Meiact® is an under patent cephalosporin with an advance molecule invented by the Japanese company Meiji. Meiact® is FDA approved for upper and lower respiratory tract infections. Two products were launched in Jordan; Tabuk has launched Lotense® Tabs 10 mg & Vavo® Shampoo. Lotense® Tabs is a long acting calcium channel blocker used as anti-hypertensive, its active ingredient Amlodipine is the market leading active principal in this domain. Vavo® is a powerful highly accepted anti-dandruff shampoo.
