The first shipment of medical supplies donated by Tabuk Pharmaceutical Medicinal Company; one of AIG companies, has arrived from Riyadh to the Egyptian Al- Areesh city, to be transported through Rafah boarder to Gaza cities and then be distributed to the Strip's hospitals that are suffering a severe shortage of medical supplies and equipments due to the Israelis assault and siege.

"The shipment aims at delivering a complete range of medicines that include different forms of antibiotics and other medicinal products totaling more than two million SR. This was in response to the campaign launched by the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin AbdelAziz, to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza. This comes in accordance with the vital role the Kingdom has been playing to support the Palestinian people, and as part of Tabuk's responsibility towards the humanitarian issues on a local and regional basis" Said Prof. Hamad Al-Khamees, General Manager of Tabuk Pharmaceutical Company.

As for the logistical support by the different government’s apparatuses, Prof. Al-khamees clarified that there has been high level of coordination with King Faisal Specialty Hospital administration in Riyadh City -the responsible party of sending the first shipment of medical supplies-.Meanwhile, arrangements for sending the second shipment of medicinal supplies in coordination with the government of Tabuk District are being finalized.
